Does an AI scribe replace a chaperone?

What does a chaperone actually do?

They are a second person present during an intimate or sensitive examination. Their presence protects the patient and the clinician, and it is part of how a practice shows it takes both seriously. The value is the person, not the paperwork.

Can a recording stand in for a chaperone?
