Is an AI scribe as good as a human scribe?

Where is a human still better?

Several places. A good human scribe learns your style by sitting beside you. They can enter orders. They can be the second person in the room for a sensitive exam. Where is software as good?

The history, often. It is always available, it costs a small fraction of a salary, and it does not leave. Human scribes typically move on after eighteen months to two years, and scribes keep leaving for a structural reason.

List what you need done. If it is the note, software. If it is the note plus orders, a second person in the room and someone who learns you over years, a human, or a medical assistant alongside software.
